The explosion is all the escaping flammable gasses igniting during thermal runaway. These gasses are also extremely toxic.

Electric ⚡️ vehicle fires 🔥🔥🔥are very rare. The risk for petrol and diesel vehicles is at least 20 times higher ?

⬆️ A  May 2023 report by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency found vehicles powered by internal combustion engines were 20 times more likely to catch fire than electric vehicles in Sweden 🇸🇪.

⬆️ Sweden recorded 106 fires in various electrified modes of transport in 2022. More than half were in e-scooters (38) and e-bikes (20). Out of Sweden's 611,000 electric vehicles, 23 fires (0.004%) were reported. The fleet of 4.4 million petrol and diesel vehicles recorded 3,400 fires (0.08%).

In Treviso Italien ist am 14.06. auf den 15.06.23 ebenfalls ein Zoe aus dem Bj 2020 explodiert.

Dazu schreibt man:

ZitatErwähnenswert ist, dass es beim Renault Zoe 2019 einen Rückruf gibt: ,,Ein Herstellungsfehler in der Batterie kann einen Kurzschluss verursachen." Dies kann zu Überhitzung und Schäden an elektrischen Systemen führen, was die Brandgefahr erhöht."

Könnte das auch ein Problem beim Renault Zoe aus Treviso sein? Vielleicht, vielleicht auch nicht!
